Hassle-free time recording – anywhere, even on the go: By offering this option to their employees, companies can strengthen their image as an employer.

Digital transformation: ECJ judgement on the recording of working time – a blessing or a curse? Since the European Court of Justice issued its judgement on mandatory time recording, businesses have been considering their options for the future. Will this require a high level of investment, which will burden medium-sized and small businesses with even more bureaucracy? How can companies whose staff move between various locations comply with the provisions? This could have disadvantages, especially for families that require a high degree of flexibility. Companies such as Interflex are offering tailored solutions to make a virtue out of necessity. According to the judgement issued by the European Court of Justice (ECJ) on 14 May

2019, employers in the EU will, in future, be obligated to systematically record the working time of their employees. The new judgement does not, however, specify how and where this time recording has to take place; legislators must act on this. This means that existing working time models do not, in principle, need to be modified if they allow appropriate time recording. They only have to comply with the applicable working-time legislation and Working Time Directives, and therefore account for appropriate break and rest periods.
