A smiling Stefan Christner, managing director of bimobil – von Liebe GmbH, says: “bimobil was founded by my uncle Raimund von Liebe. He turned his hobby into his business and, the small carpenter’s shop it started out as, soon became a fully-fledged motorhome construction company and the bimobil it is today.” bimobil manufactures specialised motorhomes and demountable units for pickups, with very liveable, modern and attractive interiors.
„bimobil wurde von meinem Onkel Raimund von Liebe gegründet. Er hat damals sein Hobby zum Beruf gemacht und aus einer kleinen Schreinerei und dem Zuschneidebetrieb ist schnell ein Reisemobilbau und daraus dann die bimobil - von Liebe GmbH entstanden“, lächelt Geschäftsführer Stefan Christner. Heute fertigt bimobil praktische pick-up Systeme sowie ausgefallene Fernreise- und Expeditionsmobile. Robust und funktionell mit modernem Interior für besten Wohnkomfort sind sie zuverlässige Begleiter am Wochenende oder rund um die Welt.
“Our vehicles stand out not only because of their excellent quality but also because they are engineered specifically for each customer’s needs. We configure every motorhome to match the user’s requirements in size, payload and performance,” Christner adds.

Der Kunde entscheidet über die benötigte Grösse, Zuladung und überwiegende Einsatzzwecke, so dass wir ein rundum passendes Reisemobil für ihn konfigurieren können“, sagt Christner.
At the moment, the heaviest bimobil demand is for overland and expedition vehicles, particularly the EX358, EX412 and LBX365 models, many on Iveco 4x4 bases. “A current trend that I particularly enjoy seeing is the growing number of families going on overland trips, for which we offer the EX420 with bunk beds,” concludes Christner.
Zur Zeit hat bimobil das Hauptaugenmerk auf dem Sektor der Fernreise- und Expeditionsmobile, wo besonders die Modelle EX358, EX412 und LBX auf Iveco Daily 4x4 gefragt sind. „Ein sehr schöner Trend ist, dass immer mehr Familien Allrad-Reisen machen wollen. Hier haben wir zum Beispiel das bimobil EX420 mit Stockbetten im Angebot“, erklärt Christner.
