When a good idea succeeds, fate is often involved. As was the case with Carolin and Martin Straus who guarantee relaxed summer days with their SUNDANCER.

No-one knows better than Carolin and Martin Straus that some success stories simply cannot be planned! Due to the pandemic, they did not know in 2021 whether their business would survive the year. But then the entrepreneurs’ inventive talent came to the rescue.

“Forced into house arrest by the pandemic we wanted to make ourselves as comfortable as possible,” remembers Carolin Straus. As at least the sun treated people to a great summer in 2021 and the family was thus continuously looking for a shady spot, they needed a good solution to make it easier to move their large parasol on the terrace.

Martin set to work. And designed the SUNDANCER, a mobile parasol stand that not only pleased the family but was also enthusiastically ordered by their friends.

“Our friends motivated us to turn our idea into a business model. We were sceptical at first, but finally decided to take the plunge,” recounts Martin. Highly motivated, Carolin and Martin launched the brand m-bella®. Within a short time their homepage and shop went live, both entrepreneurs applied for a patent, explored new production options and promoted the high-quality, beautifully designed product in cooperation with well-known influencers.

What makes the SUNDANCER by m-bella® stand out? “The SUNDANCER is not just a mobile parasol stand, it’s a statement and differs from other stands in some important aspects,” knows Carolin. Available in the colours anthrazit, light grey and white, the SUNDANCER is embodied understatement: the rolls are invisible, the design clear and minimalist.
