WERK 8 has also made a name for itself as an event venue. For a formal dinner or a flying buffet, up to 450 guests can be comfortably accommodated. The raw character of the hall meets carefully curated details, giving every celebration its own unique flair. From corporate gatherings to weddings and even 80th birthdays, the event calendar reflects the venue’s open-minded spirit – urban, unpretentious, versatile. Nestled within the 12,000-square-metre Gundeldinger Feld – a repurposed site once home to Sulzer Burckhardt AG – WERK 8 is in good company. With around 70 tenants

Set in a former industrial hall within the vibrant Gundeldinger Feld, WERK 8 seamlessly blends restaurant, bar and event space into a venue as diverse as its guests. For example, to allow guests to enjoy a proper dinner at the bar, or simply sip a cocktail at the table,” says managing director Marc Stocker.
spanning gastronomy, culture, crafts and fitness, the area itself has grown into a buzzing ecosystem. And WERK 8 has become one of its most cherished meeting spots.
