IN UKRAINE

Russian President Vladimir Putin appeared to downplay the possibility of further missile strikes across Ukraine, following the most brutal and deadly campaign of rocket and drone attacks on Ukrainian cities in the early hours of morning on Monday.

At a news conference in Kazakhstan, Putin said the call-up of members of his army reserves would be completed in the next two weeks. The Russian president also suggested that there are no plans for additional troop mobilization and that further missile strikes in Ukraine were unnecessary.

Hummingbird cake Ingredients

Hummingbird cake

-Flour(3 cups)

-Sugar(2 cups)

-Table salt(1 teaspoon)

-Baking soda(1 teaspoon)

-Cinnamon(1 teaspoon)

-Vanilla extract(2 teaspoons)

-Canned crushed pineapple with juice (80ml)

-2 Chopped bananas

-Chopped nuts(1 cup)

-Vegetable oil(to grease the pans)

- Softened cream cheese (230g)

-Butter (1 cup)

-Powdered sugar(450g)

Steps:

We will start by preparing the cake layers. Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Now mix the flour, sugar, salt, baking soda and cinnamon in a large bowl. Add the eggs and oil, stir them until they are moistened. Afterwards, mix the vanilla, pineapple, bananas and toasted nuts. Next, divide the batter among 3 well-greased (with shortening) cake pans and add 25cm (approximately) of the cake butter. After that, bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, cool in pans on wire racks. Remove from the pan to the wire racks, and cool completely for 1 hour.

Prepare the cream frosting:

Beat cream cheese and butter with an electric mixer on medium-low speed until smooth . Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing at low speed until blended after each addition. Stir in Vanilla. Increase the speed to medium-high, and mix until fluffy, 1-2 minutes.

Assemble the cake:

Place the first cake larger on a plate, spread the top with 1 cup of frosting. Next, top it with the second layer, and spread it with 1 cup of frosting . Then, yop with the third layer, spread the remaining frosting over the top and sides of the cake. Lastly, Arrange the mater on top of the cake in a circular pattern. And there you have your Hummingbird cake!
