End of Term trip

Secondary went on a Christmas trip to Benidorm.

We ate breakfast at Valor chocolate factory, went bowling to Ozone and ate lunch at McDonald’s.

We ate breakfast at the Valor Café. We had churros and hot chocolate.

We walked along the beach on the way to McDonald’s.

We went bowling in the Ozone in Benidorm. There were also arcade games.

Bee Movie

Barry B. Benson, a freshly graduated bee student from bee university, is disillusioned at his lone career: making honey. On a special trip outside the hive, Barry’s life is saved by Vanessa, a human.

This movie was made in 2007 and directed by Simon J. Smith and Steve Hickner. The movie’s duration is 1 hour and 31 minutes. A must watch if you haven’t already.

Hummingbird cake Ingredients

-Flour(3 cups)

-Sugar(2 cups)

-Table salt(1 teaspoon)

-Baking soda(1 teaspoon)

-Cinnamon(1 teaspoon)

-Vanilla extract(2 teaspoons)

-Canned crushed pineapple with juice (80ml)

-2 Chopped bananas

-Chopped nuts(1 cup)

-Vegetable oil(to grease the pans)

- Softened cream cheese (230g)

-Butter (1 cup)

-Powdered sugar(450g) .

Prepare the cream frosting:

Beat cream cheese and butter with an electric mixer on medium-low speed until smooth . Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing at low speed until blended after each addition. Stir in Vanilla. Increase the speed to medium-high, and mix until fluffy, 1-2 minutes

Assemble the cake:

Place the first cake larger on a plate, spread the top with 1 cup of frosting. Next, top it with the second layer, and spread it with 1 cup of frosting . Then, yop with the third layer, spread the remaining frosting over the top and sides of the cake. Lastly, Arrange the mater on top of the cake in a circular pattern. And there you have your Hummingbird cake!
