Our History This idyllic venue is the result of a captivating love story between Bill and Devora Peake, whose romance blossomed after the war, together with their passion for farming, conservation and Constable Country. Their loving partnership nurtured the surrounding fruit farms and developed the golf courses and, years later, generations of the family continue their legacy, transforming it into the multiaward-winning, eco-friendly resort that it is today.
Our Facilities At Stoke by Nayland Resort you have the luxury of being able to extend the magic of your wedding day by spending your wedding weekend with us. We have a range of fantastic facilities on site, including two championship golf courses, a relaxing spa, an 80 bedroom hotel, 10 eco-friendly lodge apartments and various dining options, so you can celebrate with your loved ones both before, during and after the big day.

Simone is our fabulous Wedding & Events Team Leader, on hand to guide you with ideas, support and enthusiasm through every step of your wedding journey. Having recently got married herself, Simone knows all too well how overwhelming the wedding planning process can be.
An integral member of our Wedding & Events Team, you can count on Melanie to help you navigate your wedding planning process with SbN. Full of wonderful ideas to make your day extra special, Mell really does go above and beyond for her couples and she will take great care of you on your big day.
The newest member of our Wedding & Events team, Victoria’s friendly and approachable manner puts couples at ease while they are busy planning their wedding day.
Her genuine passion for the job and over ten years of experience in the industry means you are in very safe hands when booking your special day with SbN.
A dab hand with a sewing machine, Mell is often seen with a sewing kit in hand to rescue wedding guests with an urgent repair or two!
With a Master’s Degree in Events Management, over six years of experience within the hospitality and events industry and having just helped her sister plan her own wedding day, you can be sure that you are in very capable hands with Victoria.
The Devora Suite Named after our founder Devora Peake, the Devora Suite is our largest and most spectacular banqueting suite. The Devora Suite can accommodate up to 220 guests for a wedding breakfast plus an additional 80 evening guests.
The Devora Terrace Perfect for your summer wedding ceremony, our Devora Terrace can accommodate up to 100 guests.
The Constable Rooms Primarily used to host Civil Ceremonies, the Constable Rooms are made up of two flexible, interconnecting rooms, the Haywain and Dedham. The Constable Rooms can accommodate 200 guests for a wedding ceremony.
