Keyword Review

ATT Google Traffic

Over the last year, Google made 5 major algorithm updates (see G’s in the top graph). The bottom graph shows the Conversion Rate over the same period. This tells us that although we had an increase in June and September in keyword rankings (top graph), these were also the months that we had a lower conversion rate (bottom graph).

Therefore, these last few months we’ve dropped traffic from some non-converting keywords! Looking back at September, the top non-converting keywords with zero clicks include eldt, cdl class a, and cdl a training.

Below you can see the top 15 keywords for AmericaLovesTrucking.com. The location modifier is the important piece of these keywords; okc, oklahoma, etc. Although this isn’t a revelation, we will continue to push OKC keywords!
