About Us

At SAZ MEDIA, we believe that photography has the power to inspire, inform and drive social change.

Our mission is to inspire positive social change through film and photography. We reinvest 100% of our profits back into the community, providing experiences and opportunities to develop people’s film and photography skills and to empower them to share their perspectives through the lens of a camera.

We offer commercial film and photography services for purpose-led organisations and reinvest our time, resources, and profits to up-skill people (mostly young people) across Greater Manchester, boosting digital and creative skills, confidence, aspiration and empowerment.

Since 2016 we’ve engaged over 500 young people into digital photography through free, innovative workshops at community sessions across Stockport, Salford and Greater Manchester. We’ve partnered with dozens of organisations to reach young people who would benefit from additional support.

Our team is made up of 3 female Directors, 5 employees (1 disabled) and 2 volunteers (1 British Sign Language interpreter for the Deaf). 6 young people make up our Youth Committee who support the steering of our Social Action projects.

Why Social Enterprise?

Social Enterprises reduce inequalities, improve people’s lives and create solutions for thriving communities. Profits help us grow so we can make a bigger impact. More profits, more power to do good.

‘Social enterprises are businesses. Like any other business, they seek to make a profit and succeed commercially. But how they operate, who they employ, how they use their profits and where they work is transforming lives and communities across the UK and around the world’. Social Enterprise UK.
