MESSAGE FROM OUR MANAGING PARTNER Team, As you know, our 7th annual 4 Miler at Garret Mountain will be held on Saturday, October 6 in Woodland Park. We welcome everyone to attend!

Sax absorbs all costs to facilitate the 4 Miler so that 100% of the funds raised goes to St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Paterson - particularly their Child Life Department which works to alleviate the stress and anxiety of their pediatric patients due to illness and hospitalization. We are proud to support such an incredible initiative, and since our 4 Miler’s inception, we have raised over $360,000! This couldn't have been accomplished without the generous support of our sponsors, donors and event participants.

This year, we are announcing a firm fundraising goal of $70,000 for St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital and are calling for your support. Sax will once again match all employee donations made.

Call for VOLUNTEERS, RUNNERS, and SUPPORT The 4 Miler at Garret Mountain is Sax's largest philanthropic event of the year. Together, we have raised over $360,000 to benefit the Child Life Department at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital in Paterson.

In an effort to drive our culture of giving, Sax offers team members a paid-time-off day to use for volunteering for charity.

Congratulations to Michelle Van Soest and her husband, Gary on their new baby girl! Olivia Marie was born on August 8 at 7 pounds, 2 ounces and 19.25 inches.

Congratulations to Jason Borofsky and his family on the birth of Avah Faryn Borofsky! She was born on September 1st at 11:19 PM, 6 lbs 11 ounces and 20 inches long.

TEAM NEWS ANNOUNCEMENTS TEAM& MEMBER NEWS We are proud to report that we have had the most successful year yet supporting the United Way's Backpack 4 Kids campaign!

Through our Denim for Donations Day and internal collection drive, we were able to send 30 backpacks and school supplies to support the Backpacks 4 Kids program. Thank you to all who contributed to this great cause!

Christopher Guichardo was our summer intern from Habitat for Humanity this year. Chris became affiliated with the Paterson Habitat for Humanity group over 10 years ago, heard about their internship program and eagerly applied. We were lucky enough to have him placed with us where he was able to expand his financial literacy and his computer skills in GFR and Excel. “Everyone is friendly and I really like the atmosphere here,� says Chris. His experience at Sax is helping to narrow his career goals as he heads into his Junior year of high school.
