Team, First and foremost, as we continue to work towards our extended busy season deadline, many hours and efforts are being spent going above and beyond our standard call of duty and we thank you for stepping up to address this year’s unique set of challenges. The pandemic still proves to be a great disruption to businesses in many ways, but we’ve been doing a great job exceeding our clients’ expectations and delivering superior services and results through it all. Whether this is your first tax season with Sax or your 20th, we are truly grateful for your hard work and dedication. We’ve also done a great job working to educate team members, clients, prospects and COIs on the updates and new information that continues to be released that impacts us. We must continue to have helpful and reassuring discussions with clients and further demonstrate our role as their valuable business advisor – now more than ever. For some exciting news, Accounting Today has ranked Sax #95 on their list of “Top Accounting Firms” in the country and as a “Regional Leader”. That moves us up 3 spots from last year (#98)! We’ve also been recognized on the lists of “America’s Best Tax and Accounting Firms” by Forbes for the second straight year and named a “Top Workplace” by NJ.com. Our team is certainly the main component to our success, and we thank you again for your dedication to Sax and all that you do on a daily basis.

SAX'S COMMITMENT TO RECOVERY
We encourage everyone to get vaccinated when the vaccine is available to you. This is important for your own health and safety and the health and safety of others. At the same time, we understand that there are reasons an individual may not be able to, or choose not to be vaccinated, so it is not mandatory. To help those who want to get vaccinated, below are links to information about the vaccination plan in New Jersey and New York. Information will be updated regularly. We encourage you to sign up with your local government, physician and pharmacy, to ensure you are receiving the most up-to-date information and that you have an opportunity to make an appointment as soon as it is available to you. New Jersey COVID-19 Vaccination Information New York COVID-19 Vaccination Information To guide office planning and client planning, it is necessary for Sax to confidentially collect vaccination status. You can find the details in this Vaccine Reporting document. While this disclosure is voluntary, it is very helpful for us to have this information for client engagement and business planning. Parsippany Office Until a vaccine is widely available the Firm will continue to offer employees, except those who are essential to coming into the office, the choice and flexibility of coming into the Parsippany office. Regardless of your vaccination status and decision, please continue to follow the Firm protocols found here to stay safe and healthy. When you do come into the Parsippany office you must use the Skedda reservation system. If you plan on returning to the office, please let IT know in advance so they can work with you on your workstation setup.

We are excited to announce the launch of our new Employee Directory as a key resource for team member information in one centrally located system. As Sax continues to expand, especially while working remote, we understand how important it is to be able to easily navigate our different teams, have access to the contact information and different expertise of our team members, and put faces to our growing team. These are trying times for us all as the question of when we will resume “business as usual” is surrounded by uncertainty. In an effort to assist our clients when they need it most, we have created a “Wall of Support” which includes a number of organizations who could use our backing. We encourage you to explore to see if there is a way you can lend a hand, whether that be by utilizing their services or donating to their cause.
If you have a client that would like to be included on our “Wall of Support,” please have them email covid19@saxllp.com with their company logo (.png, .eps, .ai, or pdf format) and the proper URL where to direct supporters.
Did you know that our Parsippany office has a TerraCycle Recycling Station? In an effort to move towards zero waste, our Parsippany office is a site for TerraCycle's national recycling program. Instead of discarding things like light bulbs, corks, bottle caps, pens/pencils/markers, coffee capsules and oral care, we encourage you to take advantage of our office's drop off location for these items so they can be recycled appropriately. Our recycling station can be found on Floor 1. Together we can build responsible habits and make a positive difference on our environment.
