I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far and taking some well deserved time off.

I want to take this time to once again recognize those promoted on July 1 These individuals have done a fantastic job living out our core values daily and meeting our high standards of client service and productivity. They have demonstrated great contributions to our firm and are deserving of recognition.

Please join me in congratulating these team members on their achievements and wishing them the best of luck as they settle into their new positions.

I also wanted to thank everyone who joined us at our Summer Picnic, and for those who could not make it – you were missed! It was refreshing to spend time with so many new faces, see your growing families, and celebrate with our co-team members

Our Summer Picnic and other firm-held events are not only a way to take some deserved time off but as a way we can stay true to our roots as one Sax family. Gathering at our Parsippany headquarters, especially with our remote team members and families from across the country, provides us with a way to connect and witness our team in full.

We look forward to hosting more of these events in appreciation for all that you accomplish day in and day out for the firm.

John Wagner deserves a Great Card because of his excellent job on a new client that required a lot of strategy on how to tackle and a quick deadline. He had a positive attitude the whole time and stayed focused on what needed to be done. He communicated very well and was always ready to jump in and help.

Kennedy Spittler deserves a Great Card because she went above and beyond to assist on a complex return that she wasn’t assigned to originally.

This year, our goal is to raise $75,000 for the pediatric patients of St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital and we can’t do it without you!

Sax’s Pathway program is designed to give Managers and above the tools and resources they need to reach their desired career goals at the firm.

Monthly sessions include dynamic speaker presentations, role playing, team building, leadership training and other professional development activities.

The topics for this year are aligned with our Partner Competencies to grow, develop, and advance your career at Sax – whether you strive to reach Partner or another level.

TalentEngagementSurvey

The Talent Engagement Survey will be open for participation August 2 – August 23.

The survey will launch directly from Qualtrics where team members will anonymously answer 25 questions related to their experience at Sax.

By participating in the 2023 Talent Engagement Survey, we will:

Gain a broad picture of team member engagement

Give you an opportunity to offer confidential perspectives

The Talent Engagement Survey will deepen our understanding of how our team members view career opportunities at the firm, the experience they have, and the essential feedback to help them do their jobs better. The open-ended questions will specifically ask what our firm's leaders can do to assist team members with professional development and help them achieve their career objectives.

HowToSet FileExchangeNotifications

Many of you have asked to be notified of client uploads to File Exchange, in addition to the PICs who are currently notified via email. If you would like this ability:

1. Email ClientPortal@saxllp.com asking to be set up for File Exchange notifications.

2. Once you receive confirmation that your request has been completed, login to the portal and click on the Manage Notifications link at the top of the screen.

3. Folder Types should have Personal selected, then click the Selection Type of Selected.

4. Uncheck the box at the top of the Name column (otherwise you will receive notification for ALL client uploads).

5. Check the boxes of the client portals for which you want to receive notifications, then press Enter

Now, whenever your selected clients upload documents to File Exchange you will receive direct email notifications. You are responsible for the maintenance of your notifications. Please download the documents from File Exchange and save them to GFR. Make sure you look at each document, as often a client will put multiple entities into one portal upload.

Notify the PIC and In-Charge that the documents have been saved so they don’t duplicate the effort.
