Connecting With Funeral Home Partners at KFDA

Saving Sight works closely with funeral homes to honor the wishes of eye donors and their families. As a result, our team has the opportunity to work with many funeral homes throughout our service area to facilitate the gift of eye donation. Fostering a strong relationship with funeral home professionals is an important part of our work to serve donors and their families.

In May 2023, our Hospital Development team attended the Kansas Funeral Directors Association meeting in Wichita, KS. The theme of this year’s event was “Be a Top Gun Funeral Director.” As an exhibitor, Saving Sight’s team rose to the challenge arriving in flight suits to man our booth!

Our team had the opportunity to speak one-on-one with many local funeral home professionals to better understand their needs and how we can seek a collaborative partnership. Additionally, we took the time to learn more about the trade and profession at this valuable event, as there were so many opportunities for learning.
