Beam angle - The angle, in degrees, at which light is emitted from a light source.

Dimmable - Dimmable LED fittings can vary the amount of light they emit to better suit your surroundings.
Fire Rated - A fire-resistance rating measures the duration for which a passive fire protection system can withstand a standard fire resistance test. This is usually measured in 30, 60 and 90 minutes
Impact Resistance - The ability of a product to withstand a high force or shock applied to it over a short period of time. A high force over a short time has a greater effect than a weaker force over a longer period of time.
Short Circuit Protection - This feature prevents damage to the LED driver's core components in the event of a short circuit
Overload Protection - This protection function is activated if the LED driver is unable to provide enough power when the LED driver is oversized
Over Heat Protection - Over heat protection ensures the safety of your light system and the LED driver. The driver will not be damaged and protects itself. However, the safety function is not a safety function.

TPA Its a term used in the UK Building Regulations (UK Building Regulations, Fire Safety, Approved Document B, Volume 2 – Buildings other than dwellings) that classify lighting diffusers according to their flammability. TP means thermoplastic, and TP materials, such as polycarbonate (PC), acrylic (PMMA) and polystyrene (PS), are commonly used as diffusers in light fittings. In the UK Building Regulations these are classified as TP(a) or TP(b) and when a lighting diffuser is deemed to be part of a ceiling it must be made of either TP(a) or TP(b) rated material.
Diffusers made of TP(a) rated material can be used to an unlimited extent in the ceilings of rooms (offices, classrooms etc) and circulation areas (corridors, lift lobbies etc). The UK Building Regulations do not require minimum spacings between TP(a) rated diffusers nor do they limit the % of the ceiling area that can be made of TP(a) rated diffusers.
