Acceptance Of His Help. It’s not about being a damsel in distress. Men love strong women who know how to navigate challenges, whether it be an emotional upset or changing a tyre. But, when he offers to carry your bags (even though they’re not heavy), he’s expressing the desire to make you happy, to make life easier for you, to feel useful to you. In the old-fashioned sense, this is called chivalry. Enjoy it and let him. Space. The concept of a ‘man cave’ isn’t fictional. Traditionally, women tend to flock to each other for socialising, talking about problems and having fun, while men like solitary time to do their own thing. It has nothing to do with not wanting to be with you. After all, a relationship isn’t a merger of two people into one. It’s an invitation to go on a journey together, as separate individuals who both require space along the way. Sexual Variety. It’s impossible to talk about what men want women to do without delving into sex. Sexy lingerie, different positions, a hot make-out session in public or anything new, will really drive him wild. He won’t want to ask for it, but he will want it, and it’s also one of the best ways to create intimacy and keep the all-important fire alive.

Compliments and Appreciation. A man is probably never going to ask you to compliment him more, for fear of sounding like he needs his ego stroked. But, he needs reassurance too and there’s nothing wrong with a little ego-stroking. In fact, compliments help boost his confidence and, when they’re coming from you, it’ll help him feel loved. As an added bonus, the more you tell him what you think is great about him, the more you’ll see those attributes. Spontaneity and a excitement If she doesn’t make you laugh, then she’s probably meant for someone else. It’s not harsh, it’s just true. We do not want a routine nor a to do list. Being with you is supposed to be exciting. You don’t need to have it all figured out, you can learn things about yourself while you are together. To be themselves and be accepted that way. Even if they won’t admit it, a guy will groom himself to impress his sweetheart. He will even change the things she doesn’t like about him. But he also wants to be seen for who he really is, and be loved for that.We do not want to be a project, something for you to mould into your perfect vision. Any changes he makes should be of his own vocation not because you told him to, but a little motivation never hurt nobody.

The True Taste of Friendship There has been a time old question on whether men and women can be friends and nothing more. The story of Farhan and Nafisa is the one that proves this to be true, Platonic relationships can exist. It just needs both parties to be willing to work at it. Their friendship was born from this generations pop culture of social media. I was going through depression when I first heard from Farhan, In fact I was actually going for counselling at the time. In September 2017 i was in Nairobi to support a friend taking part in the Miss India Kenya 2017 peagent. Taking part in this event wasn’t easy considering my mental state. A lot of this event is still a blur to me to this date. I do not know if it was before or after but I know that during this time is when I got a friend request from a random young man. I was skeptical because of my own experience of always being misunderstood when it came to being friends with men, Putting in mind my psychological state. But i opted to take a chance with Farhan, and to this day it still is one of the best choices i have ever made. We got to talking, with me trying to exercise as much caution as I could muster. But with time i did drop my walls and I got to learn alot about Farhan. Farhan is adopted, he was born in Karachi Pakistan and was brought to Kitale when he was six months old. He too has seen his own fair share of challenges that he has managed to put into a book, a story that will move you, showing just what determination and motivation can do for your dreams.

Nafisa & Farhan This among a lot of other things including the stories of our books is what we bonded over and every new lesson, just brought us closer together. One of the best things about Farhan is that he is not judgemental and he is very supportive. In this day and age a true friend is truly a valuable commodity, and this is what we found in each other and this is what we value about each other. It is been eleven months into our friendship, we have been through many storms that we have overcome. With an understanding that life happens. We have uplifted each other when we feel the other is giving up, above all when you are in recovering from depression or still having the effects of it then such a friend is a blessing.
