To tame the beast will take sometime, but I cannot kill yours while I’m wrestling mine.

As you step onto the stage

You’ll find you are trembling,

A distant curtain call

Ringing in your ear.

With contemptuous aid

The boiling of blood

Immense pounding from an organ often called love.

The voice of reason whispers

As chaos twirls her net

Diverting your awareness

She hasn’t lost it yet.

Breathe for some relief

To find your second chance

Turn your favor upwards

As discontentment rests.

The dancers contort, with growing apprehension Even in such a throng, they cannot attain attention Now, there in the clouds, the love they never mentioned.
