What is love

What are the feelings it produces

Nothing but a mass of chemicals

and increase of neurotransmitters

to course across synapses

to synthesize serotonin

pumping blood--speeding the pulse

And energizing of the glial cells

increasing nerve energy

heightening the senses

These feelings of a harmony of cells

all ringing at the same frequency

and the delight of homoestatic mechanisms

inducing balance

Not to sound like a nerd

--but oh baby, you and me could produce synergy
