Bound For

We all stand, balance against

the movement of the train. We

slow down, stop. Doors slide

open, businessmen, families, all

push in ignoring the appearance

of no space available. Arms cross

in front of my face, over my head,

behind my back. The air is too

warm, colognes mix, and swirl

in my head. I want out! The doors

close. We all stand, closer now,

balanced, and bound.
