Don't pass me by

in your red Ford truck -

Didn't you notice my

new suede cowboy hat?

Don't you hear my

radio tuned to the

guitar station?

I've seventeen and all

decked out

in my natural look -

Can't you just slow down,

take a glance

one is all I

need.

Don't pass me by!

Don't pass me... bye.
