Walking through

the afternoon,

Playing with your hand,

I think of words

That might make you laugh.

Each time your eyes smile

(not necessarily with your mouth)

It's like a lesson on the meaning

of time, priority, beauty, and friendship.

Then other times it is like

A tiny splash of cool watery water.

And a friendly "gotcha!"

with a sunny

afternoon.
