I went out to pick a flower and

a thistle scratched my hand,

I went out to sail a boat and

found the ocean had dried up.

I walked out to look at the Sun and

rain fell hard upon me.

I went out to find love and

my soul withered and died.

Now, I'm a rock, must you break
