One-of-a-kind Custom plan

Whether you're looking for a rustic retreat or a rambling ranch, our in-house designers can easily modify one of Satterwhite's standard floor plans or they can help you design a one-of-a-kind custom plan.

You will notice in our Photo Gallery, the word "Modified" is used in almost every photo shoot. These photographs represent a customer making one of our standard plans their own.

Design Your Own Home.

Please do not walk away if you do not see your plan in our array of offerings. There is no penalty or up-charge for not using one of our standard floor plans. Satterwhite Log Homes is not a "kit" company. There is no precutting or prefabrication involved in our construction.

Bring us your napkin sketches, your home computer creations, or even a floor plan of a conventional home. Our design team can bring your ideas to life. There is a nominal fee for this service.

When choosing or designing a floor plan, learning to visually "walk through" a floor plan insures that your home will fit your life style, your family and your furniture. There are furniture templates available that will allow you to actually place your furniture in the rooms to be sure that everything works.

Does your family enjoyed spending a lot of time outdoors? Be sure to include plenty of outdoor living space. Consider multiple use space such as a carport. Pull the cars out and you have a great outdoor space for that family reunion or birthday party.

We really like porches for several reasons. 1. Your maintenance is considerably less. 2. You realize tremendous energy savings. 3. Additional outdoor living space.

Several of our standard plans incorporate an attic frame roof truss system which allows you to add second floor areas more economically that building a larger one-story home.

On the following pages, you'll find standard floor plans and color renderings. Although every effort was made for accurate representations, there may be some discrepancies.For instance, room sizes are rounded to the nearest foot. Accurate floor plans are mandatory for actual building purposes.

The photographs in our Gallery illustrate the versatility of our product and the wide array of finishing possibilities.
