Parking spaces for twilight/ on call and cross site workers

November 2024
From Monday 4 November – the overflow car park is for use by our construction partners only Staff will not be allowed to park here You can read more on the intranet
These spaces are for colleagues that work twilight shifts, on call or who work cross site only and who hold a valid parking permit You should only use these spaces whilst working on one of these shifts
We have moved these spaces to the area circled on the map For a more detailed mapsee the intranet
This area will be staffed by an attendant in the short term and then will be managed by ANPR This will enable us to check that these spaces are being used in an appropriate way
Parking in neighbourhood roads
We have seen an increase in complaints about NHS colleagues parking in neighbouring areas If this activity continues, there is a risk the councils may introduce resident parking schemes The P&R service is free, and we have enough capacity if people make the most of the service Please can we remind you not to park on neighbouring streets, so we can maintain a positive relationship with our local communities.
Parking enforcement
From Monday 11 November we will be using ANPR (cameras) and issuing parking enforcements to anyone parking in the wrong space or without a valid permit or payment If you haven’t got a permit please get one as soon as possible To register for a permit, please visit the NexusPlatform registration page Please don’t leave it too late to get your permit and risk receiving a fine
Concession tickets, RSH
To ensure that the 10 visit concession ticket is being used appropriately, we have re-introduced the process Patients will need to get their concession forms signed by the ward, take it to an attendant who will support with payment Outside attendant working hours patients are to leave site and contact the Car Park Attendants via the Switchboard on 01743 261000 or the Trust Car Park Department on 01743 261416 the next working day.
