Car park changes at PRH Work is currently under way to create dedicated staff and patient & visitor zones at Princess Royal Hospital (PRH). As part of this work, the front car park at PRH will be prioritised for patients and visitors, while staff parking provision will be protected and increased through the zones and creation of additional staff parking areas. Around 80 additional staff spaces have been created behind the Ironbridge suite. Zoning the car parks in this way also allows us to better understand how parking is being used, so we can review demand, traffic flow and car park usage. The signage is currently being changed. Unfortunately there are some errors with the new signage and we apologise for any confusion. Any changes will not come into effect until midJune. Staff and patients will be notified when the work is complete and given notice before enforcements come into place. Did you know? There are currently the following spaces available at PRH: Patient spaces 380, Staff spaces 970, Patient and staff blue badge spaces 32, Park & Ride spaces at AFC Telford 50 As part of the Trust’s green plan, we actively encourage our staff to use alternative methods of travel such as walking or cycling to work, car share and public transport. We have partnered with Arriva to provide a free Park & Ride to PRH for staff which uses the existing No4 bus and a free car park at AFC Telford. Staff can board the Arriva bus at any point along its route, making it an ideal alternative for staff living in the area.

Park & Walk As the weather improves, why not try the walking route from Oxon to RSH ? Get those steps in and enjoy the sunshine. The walking route can be found on Park & Ride timetable which can be found on the intranet.

Cycle to work More and more colleagues are choosing to cycle or use an e-bike to get to work. It’s quick, low cost, good for your health and better for the environment.
