Welcome to the 15th edition of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme newsletter.

Four days to go until we switch off SemaHelix and replace it with our new CareFlow system This is the first phase of our exciting digital journey and it will be the foundation of future improvements We would like to thank all colleagues for your support and effort you have made in preparation for the Go Live weekend See below some of the amazing colleagues who are EPR ready

We Are Ready

Are you logged in?

We need colleagues to ensure they are using their own credentials rather than a generic login or using someone else's details This is because anything viewed or recorded will not be linked to the individual, but will be linked to whoever is logged in

We need you to make sure you are logged in while completing any tasks Anything you do should only ever be done under your own login and not under anyone else’s Do not share your login credentials with anyone as this can put you or the patient at risk due to not having the correct audit trail

Don’t forget, tap in - tap out

If you have not yet completed your training on LMS, please complete it this week If you haven’t completed your training, you will not have access to the new systems at Go Live.

If you don’t have access to LMS, you can find out more details about training here

If you have completed your training before Thursday 1 February, you are required to complete refresher training This is an 11 minute video which can be booked via LMS

This week we look at a few of the FAQs about CareFlow For the full list of FAQs, visit digital sath nhs uk

How will direct referrals (e.g. CCC) work?

The CCC will raise an “Admission Request” in CareFlow. This is the equivalent of the Bed Management function

The ward staff will then admit the patient from there on to the ward upon arrival

Where is clinic diary?

You can find a clinic and use “view diary” to see which slots are booked in a clinic session

There is also a report that can be done to show clinic availability through the Outpatient Reports Build into CareFlowOutpatients clinic summary - slot utilisation

Both the report and view diary lets users show multiple clinics at a time

What about other systems such as Clinical Portal and eScript?

Any existing system which is currently integrated to SemaHelix will be supported in the same way through CareFlow

ow do we perform pathway validation?

athway validation information be added as a “comment” against erral. Users will be able to search referrals and see a history of the ments against the referral they need
