Welcome to the 13th edition of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme newsletter. Go Live weekend is fast approaching and it’s great to hear so many teams are now EPR ready. Thank you to all the teams sending in their action plans. We have been updating our FAQs section on the digital website, so keep looking out for the latest updates. If you have any questions, please email sath.askepr@nhs.net. Quick reference guides (QRGs) have also been created to assist you when completing certain tasks. Please share these quick reference guides with your team so that you can be prepared for Go Live weekend.

We need you and your team to have completed your training in full. If you are working over Go Live weekend (Friday 19 April-Sunday 21 April) it is vital that you have completed all relevant training associated with your role. Our Chief Clinical Information Officers, Shakawan and Sevina said: “The training was really insightful and gave an overview of the patient pathway. As we have completed the training we have now been able to use the sandpit environment to practise our skills. We urge you to complete your LMS training, as early as possible, as we want you to feel confident using the system.”

Have you completed your training? Training compliance is currently at 81.2%. Well done to Surgery, Anaesthetics, Cancer and Clinical Support Services who are so close to achieving our target for the end of March which is 86%. If you have not yet completed your training on LMS, please complete it this week. Do not leave it any later. After completing your training, you can access the CareFlow sandpit environment to practise the system in your own time. Follow the instructions to request it here. If you don’t have access to LMS, you can find out more details about training here. If you completed your training before Thursday 1 February, you are required to attend refresher training. This is an 11 minute video which gives an overview of CareFlow. This can be booked via LMS.

If you haven’t completed your training, you will not have access to the new systems at Go Live. Email sath.ittrainingteam@nhs.net if you have any questions.
