CHATTER BOX Your fortnightly bulletin for SaTH colleagues and events Friday 24 April 2026
Wednesday 22 April marked National Administrative Professionals Day. Often when people think about hospitals and community services, their first thought is doctors and nurses. But high-quality care relies on many different roles working together. We are proud to recognise and celebrate our administrative colleagues who play a vital role in supporting patients, services and teams every single day. This year is especially important as it is the first time we are celebrating as a Group. Across our hospitals and community services, administrative
professionals are the glue that holds teams together, enabling services to run smoothly and support partnership working across organisations. National Administrative Professionals Day recognises a wide range of roles, whether working in frontline teams or behind the scenes, from home, in our hospitals or out in the community. Administrative colleagues handle appointments, manage workloads, organise information and provide essential support to clinical teams, helping everything stay on track and focused on patient care.
