Last week was a big week for both the NHS and our two organisations
We saw the launch of the 10 Year Health Plan, which outlined three big shifts: from hospitals to community; from sickness to prevention; from analogue to digital
It’s ambitious, but exciting, and underlines why our two organisations are exploring a Group model to accelerate the good work already happening and explore ways of further integrating services to benefit patients - and how we can deliver services to patients better, together
We also saw the 77 birthday of the NHS, and to mark this special milestone, we brought together over a hundred colleagues from our organisations to hear ideas and suggestions on how we build a Group model that works best for our communities th
It was great to hear people’s thoughts on the opportunities, risks and what we want our future to be in the short, medium and long term We asked attendees what opportunities a Group model would bring and, as you can see, partnership and collaboration is at the heart of it
