Doodle Boy’s Doodling Local boy Joe Whale put his own special mark on the new Children and Young Person’s Waiting Area in RSH ED with his amazing doodlings. One of our Paediatric Sisters came up with the idea of inviting Joe, who is known as The Doodle Boy, to come along and draw on several walls of the waiting area, and the ED team loved the idea. So, the talented 12-year-old from Shrewsbury who has made a name for himself with his incredible doodles spent a morning working on his masterpiece in our ED waiting area. Natalie Dulson, Operations Manager, Emergency Centre at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH), said: “We first heard about Joe through one of our Paediatric Sisters. The team agreed that with Joe being a young, local young artist, it was great to have him involved, doodling on the walls of our new Children and Young Person’s Unit Waiting Area.
