We’re building on the work that hundreds of you have already contributed to, as part of Making a Difference Together, by asking our communities for their views too.
Julia Clarke, Director of Corporate Services, said: “We know local hospitals are important to our communities and we take this responsibility very seriously. We believe hospital services improve when we listen to what people tell us and we respond to what they say. “We want to give our communities a bigger say in how we work and we think you, your family and your friends will have lots of brilliant ideas to help us involve the public more. “We recognise it’s not always easy to know how to get your voice heard, and this is why we’re holding an open, honest and anonymous online conversation. This is an opportunity for everyone in our communities to share their ideas with us. “This insight will inform our Public Participation Plan, which will be published in July. We’ve embraced a lot of change this year, and this is another way we can ask for help to tell us what we should be striving for and what we can do together to involve people.” The online conversation opens on Wednesday so please share this link: www.sathgetinvolved.org and ask friends and family to register to get involved.
