Awards recognition for Claire An Advanced Clinical Practitioner has been named runner-up in a prestigious patient experience award, for a research project she completed to improve the triage of paediatric patients into the Children’s Assessment Unit at PRH. Claire Fenn, ACP for Paediatrics, was Highly Commended in the Patient Experience Network National Awards (PENNA), for a research project she conducted while studying at Liverpool John Moores University. She was one of six people shortlisted in the ‘Transformer of Tomorrow’ category, which judges research projects designed to improve patient experience in the future. Claire said: “I'm absolutely thrilled. It was such an honour to have been nominated by Liverpool John Moores University, then to be shortlisted and finally receive runner up and highly commended for my work was amazing.” Continues on Page 7
