In-line CO monitoring systems must have an audible & visual alarm set to 5 ppm.

Carbon monoxide monitoring CSA Z180.1:19 Canadian standards require that all compressed breathing air systems, that use an oil lubricated compressor or any other lubrication shall be continuously monitored for carbon monoxide.

Carbon Monoxide Monitors from SATA

Ensures grade D air quality for personal protection

CSA guidelines state that the compressed air breathing system be continuously monitored for CO.

Whether you are using a SATA air vision 5000 or a SATA vision 2000 with air supplied by a compressor through a SATA filter system you MUST have an in-line CO monitor to be compliant and safe in the booth.

Both our X767-Plus and X288 carbon monoxide monitor models have an electrochemical sensor that measures CO as well as paint fumes and hydrocarbons.

The X767-Plus is well suited for larger shops with multiple booths. The X288 Sentinel is recommended for a single booth shop.

Overall SATA filtration systems paired with a SATA supplied air respirator and a SATA carbon monoxide monitor is the best protection available to a paint technician.
