Also included during this stage are, how cut and colour work together as well as the essential art of blow-drying and finishing to produce a balanced overall look. CONTROL CREATES EFFICIENCY deals with the creation of volume by graduating and how hair shape and bone structure are balanced. Foil work, essential for accurate placement of colour is studied through our proprietary shape and balance method. FIND YOUR SENSE OF TOUCH shifts the attention to longer hair and explores how to impart freedom and flow into shape by accentuating texture through technique. The colouring element covers tint and foil, a popular method of applying accents to longer hair for a natural result. To set you above the competition we explore shorter hair in DETAILS CREATE A SIGNATURE LOOK. Suitability, bone structure and consultation psychology are also studied as well as combination colour techniques, essential in any modern salon situation. BUILDING A HAIR STORY expands the stylists repertoire by looking at the essential technique of disconnection, the process of creating an individual look is discussed as well as the skill of creating a colour palette, and the question of creativity. In THE CREATIVE PROCESS, the magic of capturing the imagination of your clientele is revealed. How to weave new ideas, extend your creativity and redefine the colour boundaries to create exciting salon work.
