The project shows the growth of Gurgaon, a city recently developed near the national capital, New Delhi. It is a booming financial and industrial center and home to most MNCs. It has the third highest per capita income in India.
But there is a harsher reality of the city under all its glitter. With water-shortage, population growth of 250%, 12-hour power cuts, the city is predicted to be crumbling down within three decades.
Yet still on the outskirts, one sees the unfinished city growing, infants living in sheds and growing on cement. The landscapes and flora shouting and their sentiments brutalized by evictions and concrete. Slaughtered farms now seem witness to monstrosity with desolate faces and fading memories.
