Dear Sartans, We’re excited to announce that enrollment at St. Pius X School has reached 1,030 students in grades 6–12! The increase from the 488 students enrolled in the summer of 2022, when we purchased the campus from the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, is a sign of our families’ confidence in the many good things happening at St. Pius X. The growth at our school comes from our commitment to being a vibrant Catholic community and to improving our academic, artistic, and athletic programs. Our focus has been on innovation to meet the needs of all our students. We expanded AP and Dual Credit courses and introduced an academic support program to help students with learning differences thrive. We invested in our faculty so we can hire the best, and now the majority of our teachers are Level III educators and hold master’s degrees. Our AI Lab and Esports programs continue to attract new students, and we will soon add a golf simulator to support year-round in-demand golf instruction, training, and participation. Looking forward, I am pleased to report that St. Clare Hall has been abated and demolished, clearing the way for construction of a new athletics stadium for football, rugby, soccer, and track and field. I am deeply grateful to all our donors, especially Guzman Construction Solutions (Rudy Guzman ’90), whose generosity and commitment have helped make this progress possible. Our alumni are among the greatest stewards of St. Pius X and its legacy. We invite you to participate in our $4.5 million capital campaign, which will support the construction of a new athletics stadium and address deferred maintenance in our aging buildings. Soon, alumni and friends will also have the opportunity to purchase commemorative bricks at the new stadium, creating a lasting connection to St. Pius X for generations to come.
