December 9: The Lighting of the Bethlehem Candle Dr. Kortâs sermon title is âGifts You Canât Buy Onlineâ
December 16: The Lighting of the Shepherdâs Candle Dr. Kortâs meditation is titled âDo You Have a Favorite Christmas Song?â Our choirs and instrumentalists will present special musical offerings at both services. At 9:00 a.m. worship the Celebration Singers will lead us in a worship service as we anticipate the birth of our Savior. Donât miss Mary Ann Green singing âMary, Did You Know,â as well as other Christmas favorites. At 11:00 a.m. worship the Sanctuary Choir will present âCome Savior of the Nationsâ a collection of beloved carols and anthems, including âO Holy Night,â tracing the holy season from Advent through Christmas, interspersed with writings of Dietrich Bonhoffer. âCome, Savior of the Nationsâ will include organ, handbells, and timpani.
