Interfaith Thanksgiving Service Mecklenburg Ministries 39th Annual Citywide Interfaith Thanksgiving Service will be on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. The musical prelude will start at 6:30 p.m. The service will be held at The Park Church at the Beatties Ford Campus: 6029 Beatties Ford Road. The Thanksgiving Message will be by Rev. Dr. Ophelia Garmon-Brown, Rabbi Judy Schindler, and Rev. Christy Snow. The music will be by Interfaith Choirs and Ensembles, Queen City Ringers, Gaston Choral Society, The Park Choir, Friendship Missionary, and Baptist Church Choir. Make Your Plans for the Holiday Season Billy Graham Library Christmas, December 19, 2014 Celebrate with a special evening of warm fellowship and a traditional Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. Sardis attendees will meet at Sardis parking lot at 5:45 p.m. on December 19 and ride the bus to the event. Space is limited and registration and pre-payment are required. Dinner costs are: Adults $21, Children (ages 4-12) $10, and ages 3-under are free. The deadline for reservations is November 19. Make your reservation and payment at www.sardis.org. See a live nativity that offers a glimpse into the wonder of the first Christmas. Enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides ($7 for adults, $3 for children 12 and under) through beautiful light displays. Hear heartwarming sounds of joyful carolers and festive Christmas music. Christmas shopping at Ruth's Attic with unique and meaningful gifts including exclusive Library ornaments. Sardis members have the opportunity to purchase trees from the provider of our Chrismon Tree at a great price. Foster Farms of Newland, North Carolina has provided the Sardis Chrismon tree for many years, and additional orders for fresh-cut trees help to defray the cost of having our Chrismon tree delivered. Orders must be placed by Sunday, November 30 by returning the order form above. Trees must be picked up Wednesday, December 3, between 10:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. from the parking lot next to the Francis Property. Questions?
