The Proposal: After being together for nearly five years, many of which Rachel had not-so-subtly requested a ring, Nick was ready to take the plunge. After weeks of coordinating with their friends, Nick set the plan into action on August 23rd, 2019. While waiting for their dinner reservation, Nick had asked their friends to take a photo of them with the beautiful New York City skyline at their back - except, Rachel went off-script and declined the photo opportunity because she was too hungry. After some coaxing, everything was just right, and they were finally in place. Nick turned and started to deliver his speech, when Rachel threw another curve-ball and started to walk away thinking that Nick was surely teasing. Once he pulled out the ring box, Rachel's face lit up and Nick took a sigh of relief as he was not prepared for anything else to NOT go according to plan. After delivering a speech that neither of them can fully recall… She said yes!

Wedding planning for us was very easy! Our Midweek Wedding package at The Mansion included many of the vendors we needed (florist, catering, photographer, and officiant). The Mansion proactively communicated with us to ensure we were aligned on decisions and the timeline, in addition to making introductions with the vendors. I can honestly say this was one of the least stressful parts for us!!
