Hemlock Studio starts with a phone call and initial site consultation. We work closely with our clients to understand the site conditions, project goals and potential challenges. Through our collaborative process — we’ll provide a project estimate, timeline and guidelines on what to expect with mood boards, visual aids and 3D renders. Clients will approve concepts at key milestones and our team will proceed withdetailed drawings sets and material sourcing — whatever the project requires.

SPATIAL BRAND

03 - SCHEMATIC DESIGN ideas turn into something you can visualize. we share the concept through moods, sketching, precedent images, mock-ups and illustrative 3D modeling. 04 - DETAILS + SPATIAL COORDINATION architecture, interior design and landscape drawings are detailed. drawing sets are fully dimensioned and ready for fabrication, construction and install. 05 - HANDOFF + INSTALL trades coordination, material sourcing and budget tracking. this is where we implement the design and coordinate the finishing details.

Handpicked projects we work on often have an element of juxtaposition between old and new. We question the line between traditional and contemporary in the context of indoor and outdoor living. Every project is unique and comes with distinct set of constraints and conditions, this is where our team thrives to push what is possible. We draw on the collective experience of our multifaceted creatives.

CONCEPT AND DIRECTION

A lean team of interdisciplinary creative talent to adapt and collaborate in developing residential, multi residential and commercial projects at any scale. We are free thinking multi-disciplinarians that thrive in solving design challenges in a macro global context and for our local micro communities. We thoroughly conduct research around the end users of the space, analyze site constraints and devise a detailed plan to work from and adapt as the project unfolds.

>

Design thinking is an often overlooked yet crucial step in the feasibility and streamlined execution of the production or construction of a project. We work with clients to ultimately save time and money and achieve beautifully unique results and a space that is optimized for functionality and fits with the surroundings.
