Friendship day

On the occasion of International Friendship Day,Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Medical College organized a virtual fellowship activity with the title "Friendly Vows" to bring friends and peers in the comment section where the individuals were required to make a comment of a certain behavioral aspect or trait that relates to one of their friends/peers and can tag other mutual friends to make a guess and identify the referred persons. The main purpose of this activity was to cherish the togetherness and joyfulness of one another during the ebbs and flows of life.

Teacher's day

Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Medical College conducted a programme on the auspicious occasion of Teacher's day on 13th of July, 2022 at Multipurpose hall, Duwakot to celebrate our teachers and to honor their contribution to the students. The highlights of the event were Guru Vandana performance, music performance, classical dances, speech, poetry and games which ended with a cake cutting ceremony. There were speeches from the Vice Principal Dr Jenash Acharya and the Basic Sciences Academic Coordinator Dr. Nripendra Tiwari.

Hepatitis vaccination

Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Medical College successfully conducted the Hepatitis Vaccination Program in collaboration with the Department of Pediatrics giving the first dose of the regimen. The vaccination drive was started at 10:30am till 12:30pm during which 55 individuals participated to be vaccinated. The participants were monitored for 10 minutes after vaccination for any adverse reactions, which were uneventful It was an awesome experience with some faces distorted in pain for needle pricks, while others smiling and cheering them on.

Breastfeeding awareness

On the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week, i.e. August 1 to August 7, with the purpose of sharing important information regarding Breastfeeding, Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Medical College organized “Breastfeeding awareness program " on 4th August, 2022 at the ANC and PNC wards and on 7th August,2022 at the Pediatric outpatient department of KMCTH. Different topics were demonstrated in pictorials consisting of chart-papers and presentations highlighting various aspects of breastfeeding by the volunteers.

Orientation To Icm

Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Medical College successfully conducted a session on "Orientation to Clinical Sciences" for the students of MBBS 23rd BATCH KMCTH where Dr. Surendra Gupta talked about important aspects of clinical medicine including history taking and examination. There were altogether 20 participants in the event and the program was conducted at the Duwakot hostel premises

Teej For All

"Teej for All", an event organized on the occasion of Hartalika Teej by Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Medical College was successfully conducted on 28th August, 2022 with 75+ enthusiastic participants and wonderful performances that included poetry, dance and musical performances and also a fun game event. The event was a huge success.

Teej Health Camp

Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Medical College in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Kathmandu North, Rotaract Club of Kantipur Dental College, Rotaract Club of Reliance College and Gokarneshwor Yuwa Upakar Club conducted a Health and Dental checkup camp on the holy occasion of Haritalika Teej in Gokarneshwor temple premises. A total of 138 patients were helped during the 6 hour long camp. The services included general health check up, dental check up, blood glucose screening and other hospitality to the population there. A special Thanks to Dr. Ujjwal Thakur for giving his time and guidance for the successful conduction of the health camp

Video On Suicide Prevention Awareness

Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Medical College marking the 10th September which is World Suicide Prevention Day shared the video in it's social platforms focusing on the issue of mental health, the associated stigma and to raise awareness among the public giving the message that it can be prevented. The triennial theme for the World Suicide Prevention Day from 20212023 is 'Creating hope through action'. The event was conducted by Rtr. Pravesh Bhattarai , Yubraj Parajuli , Janak Khadka.

Ps Meet

Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Medical College attended the President-Secretary MEET 2022-23 on 10th September in Hetauda. There were gatherings of the DRR, IPDRR, PDRR, DRRE, DS and the Presidents of all clubs of Rotaract 3292.

Mental Health Nava Jyoti

On the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day, September 10 with the theme " CREATE HOPE

THROUGH ACTION " , Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Medical College successfully conducted Suicide Prevention Awareness Program on September 11 in Nava Jyoti Higher Secondary School in 2 sessions for the students of class 9 and 10.

There was an interactive session and an exercise round In the end, feedback notes were collected from each student.

Mental Health Trinity

On the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day, September 10 with the theme " CREATE HOPE

THROUGH ACTION " , Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Medical college successfully conducted Suicide Prevention Awareness Program on September 16 in Trinity College, Dillibazar for the students of class 11 and 12

Zonal Dashain And Tihar Greetings

RaCKMC along with all 12 clubs of Zone VI and Zone VII co-hosted the Zonal Dashain and Tihar greetings exchange program in Apex College, purano baneshwar on 17th of September, 2022 Rotaractors from the respective clubs participated and had a great experience along with various performances. The event was also attended by the DRRE Rtr. Roshan Karki and other members of the District Committee.

Animation for dengue

Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Medical College shared an animation video for creating awareness of Dengue through its social media platforms on 23rd September,2022. The video covered various aspects of the disease starting from the causative agent, vector, mode of transmission, clinical features and different ways of prevention and treatment

Hike to Mohini Jharna

Rotaract club of Kathmandu Medical College has successfully completed a Hike to Mohini Jharna, Makwanpur with a total of 28 participants from different batches and faculties. The Hiking excursion was a fellowship event carried on 17th of September, 2022. Besides fun and adventure, we also raised funds for the PPF of RaCKMC for which we are grateful to all the participants for joining us and making the event successful and memorable.

Fantasy Premier League

Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Medical College organized the much awaited Rotaract Fantasy Premier League 2022/23. FPL is based on the English Premier League where FPL managers collect points on the basis of real-life player match performance. The weekly winner as well as the winner at the end of the league will be awarded with the exciting prizes It is one of the most loved and famous leagues around the Globe.

World Heart DAy

Rotaract club of Kathmandu Medical College successfully conducted flashmob, BP screening and awareness programmes on the occasion of World Heart Day at Basantapur. There were altogether 6 dance and 6 song performances from different streams including MBBS, Bsc.Nursing and Bachelor in Physiotherapy. Along with this, 50 people got their BP screened and awareness programme was conducted.

Orientation to Rotaract

Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Medical College organized an "Orientation Program" about our club and it's various aspects and activities for the 25th Batch of MBBS, 16th Batch of BSc Nursing and 1st Batch of BPT students where we talked about Signature programs of RaCKMC including PPF and Sanjiwani magazine and other programs conducted so far in this rota year 2022/23.
