As a 3rd-year architect student this semester, being part of this class conducted By Professor Brad Engelsman and the visiting professor Alberto Campo Baeza at NYIT was distinctive and valuable. this curse provided me an understanding of the influence that an architect has on the world. Alberto’s discussions and lectures about different topics added different ways how I can approach architecture. Learning the way these two architects go about architecture was a fulfilled experience that I wouldn’t forget, showing me the importance of knowledge in an architect’s life. My two projects consist of a Dream House and a Skyscraper project, two different projects that impact a small or large scale, a family (dream home) and a community or city (skyscraper). the main idea was to create a space that connects to various environmental experiences starting from being surrounded by nature, going through rocky and sandy terrain, and concludes floating above the water body. throughout this journey, the members of my home can have their room within one of these characteristics. A skyscraper where the Seagram building in NYC is located. my design intention was to divide the program (workspace and living space) into two towers, where they will have a raised connection that workes as a recreational space.
Dream Home
This exercise consists of designing my dream house.
