On Tuesday 14 March, Santa Sophia Catholic College celebrated cultural diversity in Australia with Harmony Day.
The highlight was our Harmony Day concerts, where students from different cultural backgrounds performed traditional dances, songs or poems. It was a true celebration of cultural diversity within our College.
Harmony Week is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguistic background, united by a set of core Australian values. We love celebrating Harmony Week at Santa Sophia because our students come from a rich diversity of cultural backgrounds. This year, Harmony Day was one week early due to NAPLAN.

Year 12 Retreat
This term, our seniors attended a three-day retreat, an important part of their Year 12 program During the three days, they were invited to reflect on their life’s journey and consider their future pathways and where their spirituality is at work in their lives and in their decision making processes They built teamwork and leadership skills, strengthened their friendships, and celebrated the growth they've had over the years as a Santa Sophia student.
We pray that the memories and reflections they take from the 3 days will strengthen and inspire them, as they move toward the next chapter of their lives
