Mogul Pays $500,000 Over Asking Price for Late Hollywood Star’s Home

Music manager Brandon Silverstein has been revealed as the mystery buyer who purchased the Los Angeles residence of late Hollywood actress Angela Lansbury, famous for her role in “Murder, She Wrote.” Silverstein, known for his contributions to the breakout careers of artists Anitta and Normani, paid a surprising $500,000 over the asking price for the property as reported by The Dirt. com.

Property records indicate that Lansbury’s Spanish-style hacienda was sold to Brandon Silverstein and his wife Julie for $5 million. Lansbury and her husband only paid $1 million for the estate in 1985. Following

Shaw’s passing in 2003, Lansbury resided in the Brentwood home until her death at the age of 97 in October 2022.

The mansion was built in the 1960s was completely renovated either during the ‘70s or ‘80s. Situated on a gated and walled half-acre plot of land, the creamy stucco and terracottaroofed structure offer over 3,700 square feet of predominantly single-level living space. Notable interior features include a family room with terrace access, a formal dining room, a wood-paneled kitchen with dated stainless appliances, an eat-in island, and a cozy fireside breakfast nook.

The property also boasts a sky-lit master retreat with a fireplace and an expansive bathroom equipped with dual vanities, a tub, and a shower. However, the true highlight lies in the picturesque grounds, featuring an English-style garden and a black-bottom swimming pool, along with various outdoor areas perfect for relaxing and entertaining.

The listing for the property was handled by Mick Partridge of The Beverly Hills Estates, who also represented the buyer, along with Maksym Khomin of Coldwell Banker.
