Pharmacy Technician

Train for a rewarding career as a Pharmacy

Technician in as little as 6 months! Learn to assist the pharmacist in filling prescriptions, inventory control and ordering products and supplies, and 3rd party billing and payment processing. Program includes a 120-hour externship at a local pharmacy where students gain hands-on experience. Phlebotomy Technician

Phlebotomy Technicians work in hospitals, clinical laboratories, and medical offices to obtain quality blood samples and prepare those samples for laboratory testing. Students will learn anatomy of the circulatory system, medical terminology, quality assurance, HIPAA, and infection control, as well as receive hands-on training in venipuncture, capillary draws, heel sticks, and non-blood specimens. CPR certification and national certification exam and exam prep materials are included in tuition. An optional 40-hour externship is available for an additional cost. Textbooks and scrubs purchased separately.

ServSafe Certification Course

ServSafe is a Food Service, Safety and Sanitation

Certification Course for those working in the food service industry. Learn about foodborne illness, how to prevent it and how to train employees in food sanitation. Choose from several online, classroom and language options. Earn nationally accredited food saftey certification from the National Restaurant Association.
