TIPS FOR WINTER CYCLING The most important factor while riding a bicycle in winter is clothing. To stay warm during a winter ride, think in terms of your head, hands, feet, and torso. Mostly the body heat escapes through your head so using a balaclava under your helmet will help you to keep you warm. The right windproof, thermal and waterproof cloths can keep you dry and warm on rides. Around the city, winter has started and it is getting cold; however, that doesn’t have to keep you off the bicycle. Below are few cycling tips for this winter season
Be Visible Wear bright color clothing while riding the bicycle, and use reflectors and lights to the bicycle, even if you won’t be riding after dark. Other drivers will not expect to see cyclists on the road during winter months. So be visible.
