Sanosil Rapid S Mano Alcohol-based disinfectant with skin protection formula Description Sanosil Rapid S is a highly efficient, fast-acting disinfectant for hygienic hand disinfection according to standard procedure (see next page). Skinnourishing and moisturising substances prevent the skin from drying out even after repeated use. Rapid S does not contain dyes or fragrances.

Container and dispenser Sanosil Rapid S comes in convenient 1-litre folding cylinders with an integrated dosing head. The wall-mountable dispenser is made of stainless steel and acts as a combined holder and press lever. The automatic replacement of the dosing head with each bottle change guarantees high reliability and good dosage even for several pump strokes in a row.

Table-top models and universal refill bottles for proprietary dispenser systems are also available

Useful information

In the medical field, hygienic hand disinfection should be performed before and after each patient contact. In the food industry it should be performed after every hand washing or food contact with the hands. The significantly more thorough surgical hand disinfection should only be performed prior to surgery or invasive procedures.

Hygienic hand disinfection 1. Wash hands:

Wash hands thoroughly with liquid soap (preferably pH neutral and moisturising) from the dispenser.

Recommended procedure:

• Cut fingernails short and file edges smooth.

• Remove rings, watches and other jewellery.

• Wash the entire palm, wrist, back of hand and fingers with warm water and suitable pH-neutral liquid soap from the dispenser.

• Rub hands together for at least 15 seconds.

• Use a nail brush if necessary.

• Dry hands with a paper towel.

2. Disinfect hands with standard hand rub procedure (according to EN 1500 standard figure)*.

Pour 3 ml of Rapid S into your cupped palm and use the standard hand rub procedure* for 30 or 60 seconds over the entire surface of the hand up to the wrist. * Standard hand rub procedure (repeat each step 5 times before proceeding to the next step)
