Š SANOSIL

Sanosil Minilab The Sanosil Minilab is the ideal tool for the rapid and economic monitoring of microbiological hygiene after each and every disinfection procedure. The Sanosil Minilab consists of a compact incubator with special inoculation tubes and slides.

Incubator

The compact incubator is the central element of the Sanosil Minilab. The temperature can be set continuously between 25 and 45°Celsius and is therefore ideal for the incubation of mesophilic germs. The Minilab is delivered with thermometer and shelf for 18 vials. The interior is made of easy-to-clean PVC.

Technical Data

310x155x168 mm 220x120x150 mm 1.1 kg 25-45°Celsius +/- 1°C 230V/30Watt

Culture Media

The special agar culture media enable simple inoculation and reading of results, without requiring specialized professionals. Inoculation is done by contact, swabbing or dipping and then incubated for a period of 24 to 72 hours. After incubation the results can be interpreted by comparing the growth or density patterns on the slides with the examples illustrated in the instructions delivered with the Incubator. The following culture media are available:

• Hygicult TPC (red)

Total bacterial count.

• Hygicult E (blue)

Enterobacteria / E.coli determination.

• Hygicult Y&F (yellow) Before incubation

Yeast and mould determination.

• Hygicult E (violet)

Enterobacteria determination.

• Dry Cult TPC

Total bacterial count in water, per 1 ml

After incubation

Operating instructions

Step 1: Inoculate culture media Method 1: Wipe test – for easily accessible areas • Press culture media directly on the surface to be tested Method 2: Swab test – for areas difficult to access • Moisten swab with sterile water • Dab the surface to be tested, using an area that is equal to the size of the culture media • Dab the swab on the culture media Method 3: Immersion – for liquids • Immerse culture media into the liquid during some seconds • Drip the culture media and close it with the tube

Step 2: Incubate culture media • • •

Place the inoculated culture media with tubes into the suspension arrangement of the incubator Never place the tubes directly on the heated bottom of the Sanosil Minilab and protect them from sun light (ultraviolet rays). Lock the door Control the temperature and regulate if necessary: Regulate adjustment button using a screw driver by turning it. Turning the button to the right increases the temperature, turning to the left reduces it. 1 mm equals env. 1° Celsius.

Step 3: Evaluate test TPC (Total germ count aerobic mesophilic germs) 27-30° Celsius during 1-2 days

E/B GUR (Determination of Enterobacteriacaea and E-Coli ) 35 – 37° Celsius during 1 day

Y&F (Determination of yeasts and mould At room temperature during 3-5 days
