Acumen reached out to the high school counsellors across India with a survey to understand about their own professional aspirations as well as the needs and preferences of their students. The respondents were from across India and represented CBSE, IB, IGCSE, ISC, as well as State Boards. Professional development was indicated as high priority by majority of the respondents. 42 high school counsellors responded to the survey out of which 79% of the respondents had more than 5 years’ of experience. We intend to continue to gain insights through surveys, questionnaires and polls, to ensure that we can adequately address the needs of counsellors whom we are bringing into our Excellence network.
