A Letter from the Chief Executive Officer
Deepening our foundation......
It's hard to believe we are closing out another year at Sea Turtle Inc
If I had to sum up 2022 in a single word, it would be deeper.
The focus of this organization in 2022 was to do more. To strengthen the foundation and the work that has come from 45 years of dedication and focus.
As you will read over the following pages, Sea Turtle Inc approached this challenge with focus and vigor Across all arms of our mission we looked for expanded and deeper ways to have a meaningful impact on our core tenants of Education, Conservation, and Rehabilitation
Our Education department expanded programming across 3 countries and 21 states Secured a full time bilingual educator and has secured grants to provide free conservation education to low income and underprivileged students Hosting more than 12000 school age students to provide a hands on and quality experience for our next generation of ocean stewards.
Conservation responded to the largest nesting season of record for Sea Turtle Inc. Protecting more than 10,000 eggs; our dedicated staff worked 24 hours a day 7 days a week to have a record breaking result during a very difficult nesting season.
And finally our Rehabilitation staff prepared for and executed plans to provide the same high-quality rehabilitation care, in a temporary hospital, while we build the largest fully enclosed sea turtle hospital in the world
As we close out this year, the foundation is stronger and deeper, as we continue to focus on making a worldwide impact on sea turtle conservation 2023 brings with it the realization of a dream decades in the making A new state-of-the-art rehabilitation and research center that will usher in the next decade of research and rehabilitation of Sea Turtle Inc.

Educating the public about sea turtles is what I do, but capturing and validating a child's passion for sea turtles is always my goal. There is a glint in their eyes when they truly love something. If I only influence one child to pursue their dream, my job as an ambassador is fulfilled. -
