Footy fans love a good snap. Livewire Matthew Coulthard produced a few of them in his matchwinning four-goal haul for Glenelg against Central District last week. But we also love a good photo footy. And over the years the Footy Budget

has had more than a fair share of them. These days Cory Sutton and David Mariuz capture the action and passion of SANFL footy, while all the clubs have wonderful photographers who light up social media. How good are these pics from a wet and wild weekend of hard-fought local footy?

They talk about kicking the dew off the ground if you’re playing in the early-morning reserves game. But kicking the grass off the ground in a night game puts a different twist on the old expression. Adelaide’s Brayden Cook left his mark on Coopers Stadium as he put ball to boot in opposition to Norwood’s Josh Richards.
